Pension
As a Solaglas Windowcare employee we want to help you look after your
future, and that’s why we offer a Stakeholder Pension Scheme.
The Saint-Gobain Stakeholder Pension Plan offers:
• A choice of contribution levels.
• A 4% contribution from the Company to your personal pension for the first
5 years of your continuous employment, rising to 6% thereafter, providing you
contribute at least 4% of your pensionable earnings.
• Life assurance, which provides a lump sum on death in service of 4 x

Engineer’s for the number of jobs successfully completed. Service

Call Out Payment
Service Engineer’s are expected, where required, to undertake call
out coverage on a rostered basis on a minimum of one week in four. A
Service Engineer providing call out coverage will receive a standby payment
to compensate for the disruption involved in maintaining availability
and excellent call out rates are paid for each emergency job attended.

Flexibility Bonus
Service Engineer’s within our Projects department are required
to work weekends and bank holidays to meet business needs. Service Engineer’s
working within the Projects department will therefore receive a flexibility
payment to compensate for the disruption involved in maintaining availability.*

Scheduled Job
Bonus
The scheduled job bonus is payable on a completed completion visit which
will take your arrival home, or to your next job, over the 2 hours following
your end of shift. i.e. 7.30pm on a Solaglas Windowcare contract. This
is payable in addition to overtime.

Working Away
Supplement
For our Hellaby based Service Engineers who participate in a working
away rota and our outlying Service Engineers who are occasionally required
to visit the Head Office in Hellaby, a subsistence allowance is provided
for each day you are required to stay away from home.*

What other great

All Service Engineers whose designated centre of operation is within
the inner/outer London area as defined within the contract will receive
an allowance to reflect market conditions.
We want to make it easy for you to come to work and we want
to give you the means to provide our customers with a professional
service; that’s why all our Service Engineers are presented
with a Company van, mobile telephone, personal digital assistant
(PDA) and uniform upon commencement of employment.
